Lost Poetics (LP) Rock Chicago

 <a href="http://s262.photobucket.com/albums/ii119/mihcriv/?action=view&current=LostPoeticsLPonHPC.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i262.photobucket.com/albums/ii119/mihcriv/LostPoeticsLPonHPC.jpg" border="0" alt="Lost Poetics"></a>

Lost Poetics is an alternative/rock band. LP songs are anthems, wielding unforgettable singing guitar riffs combined with dynamic -- subtle and soaring vocals, while the rhythms launch into heavy grooves during the songs' climax.

The music and lyrics of Lost Poetics tell a story about life, love, passion, experiences, fantasies, promote peace and not war, coping from hard life, survival, and living life to the fullest to change the world and make a difference.

Virg and Joseph usually write different styles of guitar riffs that belong to different genres to achieve the unique and powerful sound of Lost Poetics. Mike writes all the lyrics, melodies, and back up vocals for Lost Poetics. Pete puts his own creative style of bass lines and Will fulfills the whole song with his amazing drum lines.

LP is a part of a growing scene here in Chicago with a lot of other bands to help build a tight bond and friendship between many artists and musicians. Helping each other to succeed and be heard to make a difference in this world are some of the most important goals of LP.

LP who debuted live at the very first Chicago Pinoy Music Scene Show is now making the news in one of the local community newspapers, The Filipino American Community Builder. LP was also featured in Local Channel 41 (HPC-TV) twice by Hataw Pinoy Chicago. LP's song entitled "Don't Let Go" was also ranked number two on JokoJun Radio weekly top tracks two weeks after submitting the song.

The story of Lost Poetics' formation is quite interesting. Joseph and Will had been jamming for a while. Will still has solo projects as Steelspring with folk rock music. Mike (aka Kelle) went to Yamaha School of Music, Philippines and became the 1995 Grand Prix Winner of the 1995 Yamaha Grand Recital. Mike was also a solo artist and recorded his own compositions in Vancouver, Canada. Pete had his time with the keyboards but he can sure be electrifying with bass. Virg had great experiences performing live in the Philippines and the U.S., then just playing as a solo artist and had recently been named "Guitar Rock God" of the Chicago Pinoy Music Scene. Virg and Joseph met in a music bar in Chicago during one of their friend's gig and they decided to jam after the show. First Jam was just covers with alternative music, the second time they met, they brought out their long hidden melodies that had been playing in their minds for some time. During the second jam session, "Break Me" was made. Since then, they started playing all original compositions. LOST POETICS WAS BORN. After less than a dozen jam sessions, they had made numerous original songs and counting. LP's album entitled "Running in my Veins" will be coming out very soon!

Time is the biggest hindrance with Lost Poetics' music. We have jobs, and life to live, but we definitely manage some time to jam, perfecting, and making unique and powerful songs. We may be Lost, but we’re Poetics!!!

Mud Rock San Francisco

 Mud Bio:

As a fixture of the San Francisco music scene since 2001, Mud has developed a strong loyal following of fans addicted to the band's heavy guitar riffs, infectious melodies and collection of high energy pop songs, that draw comparisons to successful crossover bands like Blondie, Green Day, and Jimmy Eat World. Signing with San Francisco indie label Talking House Records in Fall of 2006, Mud spent most of 2007 developing material and crafting the perfect sound for the first full length album "Yearbook", which is scheduled to be released on April 15th. The ability to spend time recording with music producer Paul Ruxton has made their upcoming release something to truly look forward to. Fans old and new will be surprised and pleased with Mud's new sound -- they will definitely have something to sing about.
